Austin Field Trip
You can tell that my school has been teaching and talking about famous Texans. After the Living Museum they decided to get the 4th grade a trip to Austin.
Unfortunately, from the school to Austin it is a 3 1/2 hour drive so I caught up on some sleep. Surprisingly the bus wasn't just a school bus but a tour bus, with leather seats, arm and foot rests, cup holders, and cleanness.
Once we got there, I discovered how large Austin was. If you did not know yet, Austin is the State Capital of Texas. I am amazed at everything in there, the sightseeing is fantastic. If you stand on a star in a certain room you are in the middle of Texas. In the same room you can see portraits of past presidents and governors. Below, I show pictures I took of the beautiful city, Austin.
